Located at Jiale Kopitiam at Block 28 Kelantan Road, the buffet is served from 10am to 2pm, and offers a rotating menu of 10 dishes.
According toShin Min Daily News, the coffee shop, which renovated and opened on Oct 21. was nearly full when reporters visited around 11am, with customers lining up to fill their plates.
The buffet spread features dishes commonly found at catered events, including fried rice, noodles, sweet and sour fish, curry chicken, sambal squid, claypot tofu, stir-fried vegetables, fruits and desserts.

The eatery is run by Chen Yuzhen (transliteration), who has over 20 years of experience in the catering industry,Shin Minreported.
In an interview, Chen revealed that she also operates another coffee shop along Upper Paya Lebar Road.
She started selling Thai mookata in 2024 and, encouraged by strong customer response, decided to expand her business to Jalan Besar.
Currently, the coffee shop offers a mookata buffet in the evenings.
As mookata is generally served for dinner, many customers had requested for a wider variety of dining options, which prompted Chen to start a buffet lunch.
“There are many elderly residents in the neighbourhood, and I wanted to give back to the community," she said. "The buffet lunch is priced at S$7 so that everyone can afford it."
She toldShin Minthat the coffee shop now serves about 200 customers each weekday, including diners who travel from as far as Jurong.
"A simple meal of economy rice with fish, meat and vegetables outside can easily exceed S$7," Chen said. "Here, you can eat your fill for just S$7. As word spreads, I believe business will continue to grow."
Doesn't matter if they make money
Despite the low prices, Chen toldShin Minshe was not worried about profits.
"It doesn't matter whether or not we make money, as long as everyone enjoys the food," she said.
Chen also clarified that the S$7 buffet is not a short-term promotion, and revealed plans to launch the same buffet concept at her Upper Paya Lebar coffee shop.
The coffee shop at Kelantan Road is located on the ground floor of a public housing block beside Rochor Canal.
It is divided into three sections: a mookata stall, the buffet counter, and a drinks stall.
All three sections are managed by Chen.
Though she admits that the location is somewhat secluded, the spacious layout and nearby car park make it convenient for customers.
A resident, who has lived in the neighbourhood for more than 40 years, toldShin Minthat it is challenging to attract vendors and foot traffic in the neighbourhood.
He noted that several coffee shop owners had come and gone over the years, with some leaving after struggling to rent out their stalls.
However, he pointed out that the S$7 "all-you-can-eat" lunch buffet stands out for its wide variety of dishes, while coffee and tea prices remain comparable to market rates, offering residents a new spot to gather and chat.
In the evenings, the coffee shop also offers an "all-you-can-eat" mookata buffet priced at S$19.90 per person.
The nearby Berseh Food Centre at 166 Jalan Besar is closed from Sep. 29 to Dec. 28 for repairs and redecoration.
